SAIFM will be conducting trial exams for the compliance officer Regulatory Exam and invites candidates to participate in these trials giving you, the participant, the chance to be actively involved in the development of the regulatory examination process.

The purpose of the trial exams is for the industry to “test” the questions, ensuring that questions developed are fair, valid, understandable and will be interpreted correctly.

Participating in these trials will give candidates an opportunity to practice their test taking skills and experience what the format of the exams will be like. Only candidates that participated in the trial will be allowed to write the pilot examinations. The pilot examinations are also free of charge but the results issued will be valid.

It is anticipated that the trials will be offered in October and November 2011 in the four major cities.
